(Quite frankly, all of these sound exciting – we wish there were adult versions of these places in Chandler!) But most uniquely, Chandler is home to an annual Ostrich festival!
Bet you weren’t expecting to read that!
When Chandler was first settled, agriculture was it’s main infrastructure; there were farms for cotton, corn and alfalfa. Eventually ostrich farms were introduced to the Chandler area, and so the demand for ostrich plumes grew exponentially. Now the city hosts its annual Ostrich festival!
While the Ostrich festival may be enough to draw you to move here, there are also plenty of other annual events Chandler is known for; such as the Downtown Chandler Art Walk, annual Jazz Festival and Chandler Chuck Wagon cook-off!
